0.2.2 Enemy Updates - All artwork & animation rework.
I've spent the last few weeks completely overhauling the forest enemies, each has been optimised, improved visually and re-rendered for better clarity & aesthetics! See below for some before & afters:

I've also laid the ground-work for some major animation improvements down the line, added new animations for all enemies, including; Charge, Guard up & down, fixed defend idle and a unique power animation for each enemy!



Each enemy & player now reacts visually to damage, each with their own hurt & defend hit animations, depending on how much damage is received and will have a guard break animation shortly. A smaller improvement overall, but well worth the extra effort.
And new guardians!
I've had to filter out the reaction animations for the player when they receive damage from a status, such as thorns or soulbond, for the time being. There's also a stubborn little bug that causes the enemy to deal damage to the player twice that I can't seem to squash elegantly, so I've disabled the culprit from the pool of enemies for the time being, I'll circle back to it when I can.
Next up on the to-do list is working on some bits I'm really excited for! I'll be aiming to get the first Ancient (final boss) created in the next couple of weeks, I've got a rough idea of what I want already, but will need to get sketching asap.
I'm going to try and code a bunch of cards for the black colour deck as they're pretty limited atm, giving the player a pretty powerful artifact consistently on the first few clue spaces. I've got all of these cards planned out already from the prototype, and a lot of features have already been implemented, so hopefully it shouldn't take too long. I'm also aiming to get started on the map pathway backgrounds in the next few weeks, which will be in-scene video renders of the locations in each biome, starting with the forest.
