Hey everyone!
I hope you're all doing well! I've been focusing on polish over the last week since the last update to Hunter's Hand, and I wanted to share a quick summary of what's new:
Changes
- New card artwork for all base enemies










- Aesthetic Tweaks: I’ve made some adjustments to the aesthetics, including card rewards and tooltips. Plus, the enemy title display has been improved, and I fixed an issue with enemy attack turns.
- Updated Battle UI: The Battle UI now uses scalable containers, which means better adaptability on different screen sizes. I’ve also moved the player’s cards to the left and prepped an area for enemy cards on the right for a more intuitive layout.
- Card Readability Improvements: I’ve made the cards easier to read and updated the hover function for the last played card.
Darkened the rarity colors and fixed the player card UI to ensure the tooltips show the correct modifiers. - Map UI Icons: The map now features integrated UI icons using a fog shader, which adds a nice touch to the overall aesthetic.
- Boss Map Icon: I introduced a new ancient map icon for the boss "The Black Goat."
- Enemy played cards now relocate to a new container in the battle scene along with their portraits,
- Visual and UI Enhancements: There are updated visuals, including new creature card art, and I’ve improved the overall UI.
Bugfixes
- Minor Fixes: Just some minor fixes following the 0.7.0 update to ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Fixed some card container issues and addressed z ordering problems to improve gameplay.
- I fixed the final fight icon to reflect the ancient version.
Balancing
- Ensured shop consistency at the 10th location.
